Midwifery
Midwifery care during pregnancy helps expecting parents build their team of experienced and caring professionals who will see them through the exciting and sometimes anxious time of becoming parents. One of our midwives (Donnah or Michelle) will attend most, if not all, of your antenatal appointments along with Dr Sean.
As you reach your third trimester you will have a longer session with your midwife, this is called a Care Plan Appointment. At this appointment you will discuss labour and birth in detail, and have the opportunity to ask any questions you have. Your midwife will help you make a care plan for labour, birth and the early parenting days.
Once your baby is born, Donnah or Michelle will give you a call to see how you are settling into life with your new baby. They will also attend your 6 week postnatal check with Dr Burnet.

Lactation Consultancy
Our midwife Donnah is an International Board Certificate Lactation Consultant and offers lactation consultation appointments to patients in the first 6 weeks of their newborn's life.
When your baby is born, one of our midwives will give you a call to see how you are settling in to life with a newborn. If you are struggling or have any questions about breastfeeding they can help you with setting up an appointment to see Donnah in the clinic. You can also schedule this by contacting our reception team.
